Compliance Validation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold validation microservices utilizing OCI Functions or Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) to apply USSGL, SFIS, SLOA, and Treasury posting logic.

• Integrate validation mechanisms into OCI DevOps CI/CD pipelines, implementing policy-driven quality gates linked to rule modifications and the impact on posting logic.

• Develop OpenAPI-compliant validation endpoints and publish them through the OCI API Gateway, ensuring request validation, authentication, and rate limiting.

• Leverage machine-readable crosswalk artifacts (JSON/YAML) to facilitate rule checks and guarantee consistent mapping from SLA/AA/AG to USSGL/SFIS outcomes.

• Generate compliance logs, metrics, and events directed to OCI Logging & Monitoring for integration into OAS dashboards and RCA workflows.

• Collaborate with the Posting Logic Architect, DevSecOps, and QA engineers to maintain uniform rule enforcement throughout builds, deployments, and production processes.

• Diagnose validation failures, assist in root cause analysis workflows, and provide remediation suggestions.

• Create technical documentation, API specifications, and operational guidance to support deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience with API-based services, validation frameworks, or enterprise application integrations.

• Practical experience in developing microservices using Python, Java, or other comparable languages.

• Proven experience in building and deploying workloads via OCI Functions, OKE, or other cloud-native serverless/container platforms.

• Understanding of OpenAPI standards, JSON-based payload validation, and API gateway routing.

• Experience in integrating services into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/Jenkins/OCI DevOps) with quality gates linked to test outcomes.

• Capability to obtain and maintain IT II Non Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation.

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS Financials, SLA/AutoAccounting, or federal financial posting logic.

• Knowledge of USSGL, SFIS, SLOA, and Treasury TFM compliance requirements.

• Experience with OCI Logging & Monitoring, Object Storage, or API Gateway.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying rule deviations and data inconsistencies.

• Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate across functional accounting, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, and QA teams.

• Comfortable working within structured, compliance-focused federal environments.
