📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee a scalable enterprise compliance program that aligns with the organization's growth.

• Convert intricate federal and state regulatory requirements into practical policies, procedures, and controls.

• Create and sustain a compliance dashboard, risk register, and an audit-readiness framework.

• Develop and provide compliance training programs.

• Monitor the regulatory environment to identify new compliance risks and obligations.

• Manage the compliance hotline process, which includes investigation, follow-up, and corrective actions.

• Lead enterprise risk assessment initiatives.

• Conduct and manage internal audits related to Stark, Anti-Kickback, Conflict of Interest, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and other pertinent laws and regulations.

• Ensure that data privacy, rights, and communication compliance controls are incorporated into operational workflows.

• Act as an operational partner to the General Counsel across various lines of business and states.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, and/or legal operations within complex healthcare organizations engaged in government healthcare programs, including Medicaid and Medicare.

• In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as data privacy and security laws and regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities to collaborate and influence effectively.

• Some travel may be necessary (<10%).
