📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee a scalable enterprise compliance program that aligns with the organization's growth.

• Convert intricate federal and state regulatory mandates into straightforward, actionable policies, procedures, and controls for operational teams.

• Create and sustain a compliance dashboard, risk register, and framework for audit readiness.

• Develop and provide compliance training programs that foster a culture of regulatory accountability.

• Keep abreast of the regulatory environment and proactively pinpoint emerging compliance risks and requirements.

• Oversee the compliance hotline process, including investigations, follow-ups, and necessary corrective actions.

• Drive enterprise risk assessment processes, identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating compliance risks.

• Manage and carry out internal audits for compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Conflict of Interest regulations, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and other relevant laws and guidelines.

• Ensure that data privacy, data rights, and communications compliance controls are integrated into operational workflows.

• Act as the operational liaison to the General Counsel across various lines of business and states.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory issues, and/or legal operations within complex healthcare organizations involved in governmental health care programs including Medicaid and Medicare.

• Solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as data privacy and security laws and regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities to collaborate and influence effectively.

• Occasional travel may be necessary (<10%).
