This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Build and oversee Braemac's comprehensive relationship with suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers’ sales and marketing teams, Product Business Units, and Executive management to devise and execute strategic business plans aimed at achieving profitable growth.
• Position and advocate for Braemac on a global scale with suppliers, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Create and execute marketing strategies that focus on product challenges, opportunities, market predictions, industry trends, and technological advancements.
• Organize regular supplier reviews and ensure commitments from business plans are met.
• Formulate strategies to enhance the product portfolio and broaden the supplier network.
• Manage new product introductions and provide training resources to field sales and product teams.
• Assist in the development of marketing collateral, sales tools, advertisements, newsletters, and online offerings.
• Oversee co-op promotion budgets and liaise with sales teams and suppliers.
• Engage in supplier contract negotiations.
• Act as a product expert liaison between corporate product management and sales teams.
• Provide consultation to sales teams, support significant opportunities, and partake in customer sales meetings.
• Ensure that key supplier contacts are well informed about Braemac/XTG resources.
• Track and report on supplier performance and quality standards.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of progressive experience within the industry is required.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, management, distribution, and working with manufacturers/suppliers.
• A general understanding of the electronic component distribution sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Strong negotiation skills with the capability to influence, persuade, and convince both suppliers and internal/external customers.
• Analytical competencies to assess the strengths and weaknesses of product marketing initiatives and their outcomes.
• Excellent oral and written communication/presentation abilities.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in Cellular/Wireless technology is preferred but not mandatory.
