This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure the health of parts through effective order coverage and lead time oversight.
• Work in collaboration with the buying and contract performance management teams to enhance procurement processes.
• Implement sourcing policies, oversee negotiations and commercial strategies, and manage daily supplier-related issues.
• Advance supplier selection, proposals, quotes, quote analysis, negotiations, business approvals, supply awards, and contract drafting.
• Handle both internal and external relationships to facilitate the execution of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with supplier teams and procurement operations to guarantee compliance with sourcing and procurement initiatives.
• Maintain supplier order health to ensure contracts do not lapse in quantity or duration, and renegotiate as per sourcing policies.
• Direct the analysis of accounts payable discrepancies to ensure prompt reconciliation.
• Lead procurement and technical change projects necessitating supplier involvement and support.
• Craft innovative contractual solutions to enhance contract performance and manage total cost of ownership.
• Participate in the development of strategies and policies, ensuring delivery within the designated area of responsibility.
• Convey complex or sensitive information, foster consensus, and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Leverage technical knowledge and data analysis to back recommendations and address moderately complex challenges.
• Must be the spouse of an active duty, Reserve, or National Guard member serving in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, or Space Force.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be career-ready, holding a relevant educational background, professional certifications, or work experience suitable for the corporate track.
• Must be available for a full 12-week schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED combined with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing is required.
• Possess a commercial skill set in negotiations, supplier management, and commercial strategy.
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
• Capability to lead programs/projects successfully.
• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Demonstrated project management skills are essential.
• Must meet U.S. Person status requirements for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening, where applicable.
