This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Manage daily operations of the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, claims processing, and auditing of accounts.
• Ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and organizational standards while achieving operational and financial objectives.
• Track key performance metrics related to the revenue cycle.
• Lead, mentor, train, and assess staff performance, including approving timecards and PTO requests.
• Address intricate account and claims-related challenges.
• Execute corrective measures and facilitate process enhancements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows, decrease denials, and enhance revenue results.
• Uphold departmental policies, procedures, reporting, and maintain effective communication across teams.
• Report directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
• Assist in the formulation of annual revenue cycle objectives.
• Carry out other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical account collections.
• Proven ability to take decisive actions to implement new processes, solutions, or modifications.
• Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
• A total of 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
