Financial Analyst – External Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of quarterly Form 10-Q, annual Form 10-K, and other SEC and regulatory submissions.

• Prepare, maintain, and review supporting documentation and disclosures for external financial statements.

• Aid in ensuring the efficacy of internal controls related to financial reporting.

• Coordinate and facilitate external auditor evaluations of filings and associated financial data.

• Administer, enhance, and manage reporting systems, software, and tools.

• Collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and other departments on earnings releases, investor presentations, analyst materials, executive communications, and other external financial disclosures.

• Propel continuous improvement in reporting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

• Assist with annual goodwill impairment assessments, technical accounting evaluations, and other special initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

• Five (5) years of experience in Finance or Accounting within a private, public, government, or military setting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (additional qualification preferred).

• Direct experience in SEC external reporting or preparation of US GAAP financial statement disclosures and/or experience in public accounting (additional qualification preferred).

• Exceptional written communication skills (additional qualification preferred).

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with a keen attention to detail (additional qualification preferred).

• Proven track record in system and process improvements (additional qualification preferred).
