This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses of the company's expenses, income, and other performance metrics.
• Investigate and assess corporate business and financial data.
• Provide recommendations and support in shaping the company's strategic initiatives.
• Analyze and report on variations in financial and business outcomes, identify emerging trends, and investigate discrepancies.
• Evaluate actual financial performance against budgeted figures and advise management on cost implications.
• Suggest corrective measures to enhance company performance and address issues.
• Aid in the development of company budgets and financial projections for business strategies.
• Oversee departmental expenditures and identify trends to facilitate cost management.
• Propose modifications to optimize accounting systems and procedures.
• Generate reports detailing income, expenses, profits, and the company's financial standing.
• Analyze and interpret financial reports and statistics for management insights.
• Assist in reviewing and assessing performance evaluations to provide guidance and feedback.
• Implement advancements in financial planning and control to enhance financial systems and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Six years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Capability to perform cost-benefit and alternative analyses.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in spreadsheet software and mainframe accounting systems.
• Strong organizational abilities, precision, and attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Robust business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of financial and operational planning processes and best practices.
• Strong work ethic and adaptable work style.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Proficient in navigating complex situations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Sound decision-making skills with a balanced view of business challenges.
• Clean credit history as verified by credit report.
• For remote or hybrid positions, high engagement in virtual settings, including maintaining camera presence during meetings.
• Preferred: Experience in Insurance, Optometry, Ophthalmology, or traditional Medical FP&A.
• Preferred: Advanced Excel skills.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP, Oracle Planning, Acumatica, Power BI, Workday, or Paylocity.
