Supervisor – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of a team of travel consultants

• Manage key performance indicators (KPIs), team workload, support, coaching, and professional development

• Achieve performance objectives and provide insights to the operations manager

• Utilize performance metrics to enhance team productivity and efficiency

• Enhance both internal and external customer satisfaction

• Manage client bookings

• Address customer complaints and general inquiries

• Regulate team workload

• Engage in HR activities including planning, evaluation, coaching, and performance appraisal

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff

• Employ BCD Travel tools and systems to mentor and support Travel Consultants

• Guide customers in accordance with client travel policies

• Keep abreast of necessary regulations

• Support BCD Travel and client-led initiatives

• Anticipate and proactively address challenges faced by consultants

• Conduct daily reviews of GDS queues for quality assurance

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in corporate travel management

• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and processes

• Advanced proficiency in GDS Amadeus

• Experience in people management is advantageous

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (preferred), or English and French, or English only

• Capability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

• Ability to work flexible hours independently, exercising discretion and sound judgment

• Outstanding professional customer service and problem-solving abilities

• Strong analytical and/or critical-thinking skills
