Pharmacy Operations Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in their daily operations.

• Evaluate clinical documentation to determine medical necessity in accordance with medical policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to assess and address issues related to medical prior authorization.

• Address and resolve pharmacy-related concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician credentials.

• Experience in managed care customer service.

• Proficient in drug information.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related healthcare field, or four years of experience in the healthcare/insurance sector.

• Sponsorship is not provided.

• Availability to work Thursday through Monday or Monday through Friday with weekend rotations, within 8-hour shifts from 7AM to 6PM MST.

• Training scheduled Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3PM MST.

• Retail pharmacy experience is a plus.

• Current Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
