Pharmacy Operations Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Assess clinical documentation to ensure medical necessity aligns with medical policy.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and address issues related to medical prior authorization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a current Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician certification.

• Experience in managed care customer service is required.

• Proficient in drug information.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proven ability in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related health care field, or four years of experience in the health care/insurance industry.

• Retail Pharmacy experience is preferred.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday for 8 hours between 7 AM and 6 PM MST, including weekend rotation.

• Training availability required Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM MST.

• Sponsorship is not available.

• Must be able to work remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
