This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a staff team.

• The Supervisor is accountable for managing team performance on an individual basis, concentrating on measuring and enhancing key performance indicators for productivity and quality.

• Assess staff performance and quality, addressing any training or performance-related issues as necessary.

• Conduct colleague chairsides.

• Perform regular quality audits on account activities to ensure appropriate handling of accounts.

• Work in collaboration with leadership and training teams to develop training plans aimed at creating a best practice team.

• Provide support and resolutions for inquiries from internal business partners.

• Generate reports or logs as needed.

• Review team members' work.

• Serve as a technical expert regarding denials and payer policies, addressing questions from team members.

• Keep updated with all healthcare-related issues and regulations.

• Report any identified trends or procedural issues to internal leadership when appropriate.

• Uphold a professional demeanor at all times.

• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Analyze and resolve problems quickly and effectively.

• Set realistic goals and priorities that align with organizational objectives.

• Conduct daily huddles and weekly staff meetings to promote ongoing process improvement and enhance staff project knowledge.

• Fill all job openings as needed.

• Approve timecards, manage colleague PTO requests, and authorize payroll.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare insurance billing and denials, directly engaging with government or commercial insurance payers.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment that demands quick turnaround and high-quality output.

• Capacity to facilitate and influence decision-making by inspiring others to excel in both work quality and teamwork.

• Demonstrated expertise in insurance company practices regarding reimbursement, with the ability to convert that knowledge into effective training for performance excellence.

• Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with colleagues.

• Proficiency in navigating Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office.

• Solid knowledge and experience in governmental, legal, and regulatory aspects related to billing and collection activities.
