This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver clinical guidance, case consultations, chart reviews, and audits for Nurse Practitioners.
• Oversee and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners in a supervisory capacity.
• Contribute to the development of internal practice standards.
• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to guarantee high-quality and consistent care.
• Assist in virtual behavioral health initiatives.
• Operate within a telehealth setting with no direct patient interaction required.
• MD or DO degree is mandatory.
• Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
• Certification in child/adolescent psychiatry is an advantage.
• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses is essential.
• Preference for Florida, Illinois, and/or New York state licenses.
• Ability to adapt to technology, including telehealth platforms, video communication, and electronic health records (EHRs).
• Must be responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails during business hours.
• Prior experience in a collaborative role with Nurse Practitioners is preferred.
• Experience in addiction, serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorder (SUD), or dual diagnosis is beneficial.
• Background in working with child and adolescent psychiatry patients is essential.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 is necessary.
• Familiarity with managed care, Medicaid, and private payers is expected.
• Experience in child and adolescent mental health treatment is preferred.
• Previous telehealth experience is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must work without visa sponsorship; Brave Health is unable to provide or assist with visas or work eligibility.
• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in other languages, especially Spanish, is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
