Superintendent – MEP Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage all tasks within the designated craft, adhering to project blueprints and timelines.

• Collaborate with subcontractors effectively.

• Conduct quality control and safety inspections.

• Offer on-site leadership.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

• Work alongside vendors to ensure that work adheres to specifications.

• Lead a team of workers, overseeing schedules, project advancement, and resource distribution.

• Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, supplies, and additional project expenses.

• Work together with clients, Project Management, and construction management to align budgets and timelines.

• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with vendors and suppliers.

• Develop schedules for workers and subcontractors.

• Keep daily logs of job site operations and report findings to management.

• Modify operations as needed to ensure construction deadlines are met.

• Implement efficient and cost-effective management strategies.

• Oversee team members and manage field operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15 years of relevant industry experience.

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to produce precise and timely reports and deliver engaging presentations.

• Skill to identify, assimilate, and interpret key elements and implications of various courses of action.

• Ability to plan and manage work, inspire and nurture subordinates, enhance work methods and outcomes, and promote work improvements.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to simplify and resolve complex issues.

• Proficient in using resources efficiently and minimizing costs.

• Keen attention to detail, accuracy, quality control, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Capacity to monitor construction schedules and advise on potential delays or challenges.

• Ability to communicate safety expectations and conduct timely, accurate safety audits.

• Familiarity with construction blueprints and scheduling plans.

• Must be capable of frequently lifting/moving up to 25 lbs and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.

• Availability for overtime and travel is required.
