This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist the Trustee in meeting fiduciary, regulatory, and operational oversight duties related to superannuation administration, claims, complaints, and member outcomes.
• Facilitate governance and control concerning incidents, breaches, and complaints.
• Promote fair, consistent, and compliant decision-making regarding claims and member issues.
• Supervise service providers and assess contact centre performance.
• Deliver cross-functional support across claims, complaints, incidents, remediation, service provider management, contact centre oversight, and member servicing.
• Assess and resolve incidents and complaints.
• Review claims and member issues within the scope of delegated authority.
• Assist in operational governance, risk management, and regulatory activities.
• Leverage insights from claims, complaints, and member feedback to pinpoint enhancements in processes, systems, disclosures, and member outcomes.
• Work collaboratively as part of a pooled Operations team under the guidance of senior Fund Operations colleagues.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a superannuation operations role.
• Experience in customer service, such as in a contact or member service centre.
• Strong comprehension of superannuation legislation.
• RG146 certification, or a willingness to undergo training and achieve compliance within 12 months of starting.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in communicating with individuals from diverse levels and backgrounds.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priority tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to acquire new skills and embrace additional responsibilities.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with service providers, colleagues, Senior Leadership, and the Office of the Superannuation Trustee.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, business, or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Direct experience within a superannuation RSE Licensee is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance within the superannuation framework is a plus.
• Experience in collaborating with outsourced service providers is a plus.
