This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist the Trustee in executing fiduciary, regulatory, and operational oversight duties related to superannuation administration, claims, complaints, and member outcomes.
• Deliver cross-functional support in areas including claims, complaints, incidents, remediation, service-provider management, contact centre oversight, and member services.
• Evaluate and resolve incidents and complaints effectively.
• Assess claims and member issues within the authority granted.
• Supervise service-provider performance metrics.
• Contribute to operational governance, risk management, and regulatory activities.
• Leverage insights from claims, complaints, and member feedback to enhance processes, systems, disclosures, and member outcomes.
• Collaborate as part of a pooled Operations team under the guidance of senior colleagues in Fund Operations.
• Establish strong relationships with service providers, colleagues, Senior Leadership, and the Office of the Superannuation Trustee.
• Take ownership of and address escalations promptly.
• Commitment to Future Group’s mission with a strong desire to transition Australia’s finances from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a superannuation operations position.
• Relevant customer service experience, preferably in a contact or member service centre.
• Comprehensive understanding of superannuation legislation.
• RG146 accreditation, or a willingness to undergo training to achieve compliance within 12 months of starting.
• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills across various levels and backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
• Openness to acquiring new skills and taking on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with service providers, colleagues, Senior Leadership, and the Office of the Superannuation Trustee.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, business, or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience within a superannuation RSE Licensee is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance within the superannuation framework is beneficial.
• Experience collaborating with outsourced service providers is a plus.
