SUD Group Facilitator – SUDP Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all onboarding obligations within two weeks of the initial contracting date.

• Conduct monthly meetings with the designated Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director.

• Engage in professional and timely communication via email and Slack with care-team personnel.

• Review the assigned curriculum prior to group sessions.

• Arrive roughly 10 minutes early and facilitate groups for the entire duration of the session.

• Lead SUD groups in accordance with Charlie Health's best practices.

• Create a supportive atmosphere and assist clients in building long-term recovery skills.

• Facilitate groups across various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour.

• Encourage client participation and group unity, promoting a camera-on culture.

• Take part in Treatment Team and Group Supervision meetings.

• Collaborate with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referrers.

• Complete treatment documentation within 24 hours while adhering to HCA-DBHR and Joint Commission standards.

• Uphold professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) certification.

• Available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time for the entire three-hour block.

• Experience in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

• Solid understanding of both abstinence and harm-reduction models.

• Experience working with both youth and adults.

• Proficient in a range of modalities and confident in integrating them into practice.

• Passionate about group therapy and adept at facilitating group sessions.

• Technical proficiency to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• Reliable WiFi connection for client meetings.

• Familiarity with Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, EMR, and outcomes survey software.

• Maintain a workspace that is compliant with HIPAA regulations.

• This is a part-time, 1099 position.
