Subtitling Resource Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist the Resource Management Specialist in locating, recruiting, and onboarding skilled freelance linguists, editors, and QA specialists across various languages.

• Organize testing and evaluation workflows in collaboration with internal stakeholders and language leads.

• Keep precise records of resource qualifications, availability, and onboarding status within internal systems.

• Allocate resources to subtitling projects based on language needs, availability, and performance history.

• Monitor project timelines and ensure that resourcing requirements are fulfilled for prompt, high-quality deliveries.

• Serve as a liaison between linguists and project managers to facilitate task assignments.

• Revise internal tools and trackers, including rate cards, availability logs, performance metrics, and recruitment pipelines.

• Produce reports on resource utilization and performance.

• Engage with freelancers regarding scheduling, onboarding, project expectations, and general inquiries.

• Establish and nurture relationships with high-performing language specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in resource coordination, vendor management, or localization operations—ideally in subtitling, audiovisual translation, or media localization.

• Practical experience in the complete recruitment process (from sourcing to onboarding) for freelance linguists or language talents.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets, databases, ERP systems, and ATS platforms such as Airtable, Smartsheet, Excel, HireEZ, and Workable.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with subtitling tools is a plus.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Experience in supporting resourcing or production teams within a media localization or post-production setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of subtitling workflows and quality standards in streaming and broadcast media is preferred.

• Awareness of global freelance networks and regional language trends is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Media Studies, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
