This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and continuously enhance strategies aimed at boosting subscriber growth, engagement, retention, lifetime value, and profitability.
• Detect structural opportunities and risks while providing recommendations and priorities for senior leadership.
• Outline strategies for subscription pricing, packaging, promotions, benefits, and monetization.
• Assess customer responses, competitive dynamics, willingness to pay, and unit economics to guide pricing decisions.
• Independently identify and resolve complex, ambiguous business challenges utilizing behavioral, financial, customer, and market data.
• Create hypotheses, determine analytical methods, synthesize findings, and convert them into actionable business recommendations.
• Pinpoint and prioritize opportunities throughout the subscription lifecycle.
• Quantify opportunities, evaluate strategic and economic trade-offs, construct business cases, and set decision criteria and success metrics.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, revenue, lifetime value, and margin.
• Convert customer and economic insights into recommendations that influence product roadmaps, investment choices, benefit design, go-to-market strategies, and prioritization of experiments.
• Spearhead complex initiatives that involve Product, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Design, Analytics, and other teams.
• Foster stakeholder alignment and propel decisions forward in situations of unclear ownership, data, or resolution paths.
• Provide guidance to senior leaders regarding subscription growth, pricing, monetization, and economics.
• Craft concise, executive-ready narratives that distill complex analyses and propose clear courses of action.
• Build and institutionalize analytical models, strategic frameworks, measurement techniques, and operating mechanisms.
• Set best practices for problem structuring, business case development, experimentation, and strategic analysis.
• Offer thought leadership and mentorship without necessitating direct management of people.
• Review and adhere to Company safety and security policies and procedures and report potential security threats to the Security Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in strategy, pricing, analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy, monetization, or related fields.
• Proven experience in leading complex, high-impact business decisions.
• Background in subscription strategy, pricing, packaging, monetization, or revenue management.
• Capability to independently define and navigate highly ambiguous challenges, establish a strategic viewpoint, and influence decisions with substantial business and financial implications.
• Profound expertise in leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to comprehend customer behavior, business performance, and economic drivers.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in evaluating unit economics, customer lifetime value, investment trade-offs, and business cases.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
• Ability to recognize second-order implications, structural opportunities, and strategic risks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex issues into clear recommendations for executive audiences.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment across teams without formal authority.
• Capacity to operate with considerable independence, exercise sound judgment with incomplete information, and navigate strategic and executional complexity.
• Experience in consumer technology or consumer health technology/healthcare is particularly valuable.
• Knowledge of subscription unit economics, lifetime value, churn, and retention optimization is especially beneficial.
• Experience with experimentation, customer behavior analytics, segmentation, or willingness-to-pay analysis is particularly advantageous.
• Product strategy experience and influence over product roadmaps and investment decisions is especially valuable.
