This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and direct a team of subcontract administrators; guide and develop staff in comprehensive subcontract management processes.
• Manage, nurture, and develop staff by establishing goals and objectives, while assisting employees in achieving them.
• Cultivate robust relationships with internal business stakeholders to grasp business goals and requirements that support proposals and subcontract performance.
• Identify business solutions within the confines of a CPSR-approved framework.
• Employ a risk-based strategy to formulate sourcing methods and negotiate contract terms.
• Draft subcontract agreements and related documentation, including facilitating and/or assisting in the negotiation and execution of contract documents.
• Secure necessary approvals from Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, the requesting business unit, and other relevant internal stakeholders as required.
• Actively monitor and manage contracts nearing expiration to avert lapses in coverage, while mentoring the team to do the same.
• Establish and nurture relationships with external vendors for key subcontractors.
• Contribute to the development of Strategic Sourcing policies and procedures.
• Address contract audit reviews and fulfill associated reporting obligations.
• Assist with pre- and post-award subcontracting activities, market analysis, and sourcing strategies.
• 4 years of progressive relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 2 years of progressive relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with 8 years of progressive relevant experience.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, GSA Schedules, IDIQ vehicles, and pertinent procurement laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in building and managing relationships.
• Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• A positive and adaptable approach to business management, with a readiness to embrace new tasks and assignments.
• Capability to manage diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Proficient in handling multiple tasks at once.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%, as necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of CostPoint (preferred).
• An active security clearance is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in procurement and subcontract administration with federal government contractors (preferred).
