This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Act as the key support for the Project Leadership team overseeing client sponsors’ scientific design, PDX tumor model selection, and project execution.
• Input study data into databases for effective project management.
• Aid in developing estimated timelines for studies.
• Organize and coordinate study schedules with project leadership and operations teams.
• Revise study information to reflect protocol amendments.
• Manage and update project timelines and milestones within databases.
• Facilitate the procurement of study materials in collaboration with operations.
• Draft initial study protocols and amendments.
• Oversee ongoing studies in the laboratory information management system alongside the Project Leader.
• Conduct and/or review the enrollment process for in vivo studies.
• Assist in the scheduling of end-of-study activities and analyses.
• Organize the shipment of samples to collaborators, clients, and laboratories.
• Identify and assist in resolving issues related to ongoing studies.
• Participate actively in team meetings and provide constructive feedback.
• Work autonomously and undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or Master’s degree in a biology or chemistry-related discipline; oncology experience is a plus.
• Preferred but not mandatory: 1 to 3 years of experience in contract research, pre-clinical research, or a comparable role.
• Familiarity with project management and oncology research.
• Knowledge of in vivo oncology models (Xenograft/PDX) is preferred.
• Capability to navigate multiple databases to support project management.
• A collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to make timely decisions, possess strong interpersonal skills, and maintain persistence with tact.
• Competence in balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
• Adaptable, self-organized, and accountable.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to sit for extended durations using a computer in a standard office environment or home office.
