Student Wellness Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a dynamic caseload of students, delivering brief, solution-focused counseling.

• Address new student referrals and facilitate continuous services or connections to university resources.

• Offer asynchronous support via the institution's online mental health support program.

• Conduct wellness-related training sessions for students and staff.

• Provide assistance through email, phone, and text-message support to students, faculty, and staff.

• Help students comprehend and make informed choices regarding University policies and procedures related to personal wellness and emergencies.

• Develop and maintain resource lists and databases for staff and students.

• Establish and uphold proactive outreach strategies concerning basic-needs insecurities.

• Manage communications through the department's email queue.

• Deliver individual support through short-term, solution-focused counseling and referrals to University/community resources.

• Keep accurate records of referral options categorized by geography and student requirements.

• Train, consult, and assist faculty and staff across National University.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing case management services and working with adult student populations is required.

• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.

• Military experience is preferred.
