This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Act as the main field-based contact for education, assistance, and issue resolution regarding patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their office personnel.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
• Facilitate compliant discussions related to access and fulfillment.
• Leverage data and account management skills to address access barriers.
• Tackle critical patient access and affordability challenges.
• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers within assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed on market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types and plans.
• Conduct business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, as well as required training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Background in reimbursement or managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access situations and provide solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities along with effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency in the specified territory.
• Experience with neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
