This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
• Meet annual sales and profitability targets for the Latin America and Caribbean regions.
• Create and execute sales support strategies aimed at enhancing market share and growth, focusing on the golf and turf sectors.
• Plan, oversee, coordinate, and implement Commercial Golf Grounds, Irrigation products, and parts operations across the area.
• Achieve divisional sales and profit goals through direct engagement with the company’s distributor network.
• Build, sustain, leverage, and influence relationships with customers, marketing teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Formulate sales strategies for each business division.
• Mentor, coach, and guide sales personnel; perform mid-year and year-end evaluations.
• Develop and implement annual business strategies and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and forecasting plans.
• Discover new business prospects and market segments.
• Collaborate with Customer Care to resolve field issues and offer technical sales assistance.
• Provide leadership to sales managers, representatives, staff, and cross-functional support groups.
• Communicate objectives, policies, and strategies to regional staff.
• Create sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives for distributors.
• Assist distribution-channel projects through market visits, order negotiations, and new product launches.
• Develop distributors and provide training on products and sales techniques.
• Identify and cultivate distribution channels for emerging market opportunities.
• Assess distributor sales, marketing strategies, and customer service quality.
• Coordinate between sales, marketing, and credit departments.
• Pinpoint market development opportunities and devise plans to explore them.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Directly supervise and lead the sales team in Latin America.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time as required.
• Report to the Vice President of the International Division.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a marketing-related field.
• An M.B.A. is preferred.
• Must possess advanced proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Over 10 years of combined experience in sales and marketing, managing business plans and P&Ls across various distribution channels.
• Proven ability to create and implement annual business and sales account strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in product knowledge, customer benefits, and competitive product categories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional sales presentations and negotiations.
• Capacity to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills based on data.
• Proven conflict resolution abilities and capability to influence key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple demanding projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no current or future visa sponsorship is available.
