This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit and enroll qualified undergraduate and graduate students.
• Conduct outreach utilizing outbound calls, scheduled phone appointments, email, chat, video chat, and SMS.
• Advise students on their career and program interests, helping align them with academic and professional objectives.
• Assist prospective students in navigating program-specific enrollment processes.
• Oversee the onboarding process for enrolled students and provide financial guidance from enrollment through graduation.
• Deliver personalized support, course guidance, and registration assistance.
• Orient students regarding admissions and catalog requirements, academic policies, registration procedures, and available resources.
• Manage a student cohort in relation to enrollment and retention metrics.
• Encourage and support students' progression through advanced degree programs.
• Collaborate with academic and admissions departments as well as faculty to ensure program alignment and foster student success.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, FERPA, and institutional standards.
• Utilize student-management, communication, engagement, online education, and career-planning technologies.
• Analyze student dashboards and reports to enhance student experiences and outcomes.
• Work Tuesday–Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with one late day from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Psychology, or Communications.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in counseling/advising, customer service and/or sales concierge service, or managing a large customer base.
• A minimum of two years of experience for each year of formal education required; candidates without a degree must enroll in a degree-seeking program and maintain good standing with student loan debt (this applies to internal employees only).
• Strong proficiency in technology for student management and engagement.
• Knowledge of online learning platforms and career planning tools.
• Familiarity with student information systems and CRM tools like Cvue, SRM (Salesforce), CampusLogic, Brightspace, Canvas, and Slate.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and/or Google Apps for Work.
• Ability to advise on academic organization, university policies, processes, and education funding.
• Excellent consultative sales and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, listening, interpersonal, time-management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Skills in conflict resolution and student de-escalation.
• Understanding of FERPA guidelines and regulations.
• Capability to analyze student dashboards and reports.
• In-depth knowledge of online education platforms.
• Ability to identify and comprehend students' career decision-making processes.
