This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create an annual personal development plan that encourages spiritual growth.

• Engage with the church community and immerse yourself in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.

• Guide teams and individuals in their spiritual development journey.

• Hold regular meetings with volunteer leaders and regional leadership.

• Source and train new leaders while building a cohesive leadership team.

• Exemplify excellence in contact work, club activities, Campaigners, and camping experiences.

• Secure financial support while maintaining effective donor relations.

• Provide ministry updates to individual donor partners.

• Support camp fundraising efforts and participate in assigned committee and adult events.

• Conduct outreach activities and engage in Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship initiatives.

• Assist in implementing strategies for summer and school-season camping programs.

• Possibly work as summer staff or be assigned to a Young Life property.

• Adhere to Young Life policies and procedures while upholding professionalism.

• Establish and evaluate annual ministry and personal objectives.

• Contribute to office administration tasks and complete expense reports.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned based on individual strengths, experience, and area requirements.

• Attend mandatory regional training as instructed.

• Carry out area assignments under the guidance of the area director or mentor.

• Receive tailored training focused on spiritual maturity, character development, and ministry skills.

• Understand personal fundraising concepts and take part in Young Life discipleship opportunities.

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

• Strong relational abilities with both children and adults.

• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

• Must have a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

• Must adhere to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and necessary staff policies.

• Must be prepared, willing, and able to carry out essential ministry responsibilities.

• Must avoid behavior and statements that undermine Young Life’s biblical principles.

• Must comply with Young Life policies and practices, particularly those pertaining to religious beliefs or ministry activities.
