This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create an annual personal growth strategy that includes solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and a deep understanding of God’s Word.

• Engage actively in both a church community and Young Life’s spiritual network.

• Guide teams and individuals in their spiritual journeys.

• Hold regular meetings with volunteer leaders and area leadership.

• Recruit and train new leaders to establish a representative leadership team.

• Exemplify excellence in contact work, club activities, Campaigners, and camping initiatives.

• Attend and engage in area leadership activities as required.

• Secure financial support and uphold donor-care practices.

• Provide ministry updates and progress reports to personal donor partners.

• Assist with camp fundraisers and participate in occasional committee and adult events.

• Take part in contact work, Young Life club, Campaigners/discipleship ministry, and camping strategies.

• Potentially work on summer staff or be assigned to a Young Life property.

• Adhere to Young Life policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism.

• Establish and review annual ministry and personal objectives.

• Support office administration tasks when assigned.

• Accurately and promptly complete expense reports.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned based on skills, experience, and area requirements.

• Attend mandatory regional training events at the discretion of the regional director.

• Operate under the guidance of the area director or assigned mentor.

• Receive tailored training focused on spiritual growth, character development, and ministry skills.

• Familiarize yourself with the area strategy and overall ministry health.

• Must profess faith in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.

• Must adhere to Young Life’s Statement of Faith along with required staff statements and policies.

• Must be prepared, willing, and capable of fulfilling necessary ministry responsibilities.

• Must avoid behaviors and statements that undermine Young Life’s biblical standards.

• Must comply with all Young Life policies and practices, including those concerning religious beliefs or ministry activities.

• Currently pursuing a college degree.

• Proven ability to build relationships with both youth and adults.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capable of maintaining confidentiality.
