
Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist β Stipend Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Offer Registered Nurses the chance to enroll in, or continue their education at, an accredited nurse anesthesia school.
β’ Engage in the SRNA hiring stipend initiative.
β’ Fulfill a 36-month obligation following graduation from the CRNA program.
β’ Transition to a CRNA role at Duke when starting work as a CRNA.
β’ Serve as a CRNA in a hospital environment after completing the training program.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
β’ Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program at a nurse anesthesia school recognized by the State Accrediting Agency and the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
β’ Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience is required for program acceptance.
β’ Must hold a valid RN license.
β’ Registered Nurses must apply and gain acceptance into this program.
β’ A $45,000 lump sum payment to the SRNA while in school, in exchange for a 36-month commitment after graduating from the CRNA program.
β’ A $60,000 commitment bonus distributed in $10,000 increments every 6 months over 3 years upon starting employment or transitioning to a CRNA position at Duke.
β’ An annual stipend of $15,000 for full-time CRNAs working in a hospital setting, prorated for those working less than full-time, paid monthly based on FTE status.
β’ An annual CME allowance of $2,500 for full-time employees, prorated for those working less than full-time.
β’ A relocation budget of $8,000 for CRNAs who move 50 miles or more to be closer to the Duke facility.
