This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Participate in face-to-face recruitment events throughout the designated California region, which includes community college transfer fairs, conferences, and organizational benefit fairs.
• Create outreach materials and oversee the setup and breakdown of tabling displays.
• Organize and conduct information sessions for prospective students.
• Stay updated on UMass Global programs.
• Provide prospective students with comprehensive information regarding university programs.
• Collaborate with external partners to organize student recruitment initiatives.
• Work alongside the Director of Strategic Partnerships to maintain the outreach calendar.
• Facilitate the establishment of new partnerships as assigned.
• Develop landing pages, vanity URLs, and other digital resources for partner engagement.
• Manage Salesforce CRM data related to lead generation, prospective students, and account activities.
• Document and update student inquiries, activities, and outreach efforts in Salesforce.
• Monitor engagement metrics and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Applicants must currently reside in California.
• Candidates must be located in Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, or Santa Barbara County.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, sales, or a related field, preferably within higher education.
• Experience in organizing or assisting with both in-person and virtual events such as job fairs or information sessions.
• An associate’s degree is required at a minimum.
• Must be able to travel frequently and efficiently to events.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong written communication skills for the creation of digital assets and partnership materials.
• Proficient networking abilities.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
• Competence in organizing and scheduling recruitment events.
• Demonstrated confidence and professionalism when presenting university programs to groups.
• Familiarity with digital content creation tools, such as landing pages and vanity URLs.
• Comfort using CRM systems for tracking student outreach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Availability for flexible hours, including occasional weekend and evening shifts.
• Successful completion of a background check and criminal history review.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel purposes.
• Appropriate auto liability insurance coverage is required.
• Ability to travel 25–40%, which may include overnight travel.
