This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Increase student enrollment in CIEE's high school study abroad programs through proactive sales outreach.
β’ Manage the applicant journey from the initial expression of interest to confirmed participation.
β’ Establish trust with students and their families, assisting them in selecting appropriate programs.
β’ Highlight CIEE Global Navigator programs, which include High School Summer Abroad, Custom School Trips, High School Semester Abroad, Gap Year Abroad, and First Year Abroad.
β’ Communicate the value and benefits of studying abroad to U.S. high school students and their legal guardians.
β’ Execute structured sales outreach through phone calls, texts, and emails.
β’ Conduct 20β60 calls daily, depending on the season.
β’ Inspire and guide participants and families through scholarship and application processes.
β’ Assist families in overcoming obstacles related to high school study abroad.
β’ Deliver prompt customer service throughout the application, acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure preparation phases.
β’ Host virtual webinars for students and parents, including some evening sessions.
β’ Present information to students and parents in person at high schools and fairs within the territory, necessitating domestic travel.
β’ Review applications, accept applicants, and convert them into paying participants.
β’ Ensure participant financial accounts are accurate and fully paid; follow up on any discrepancies or missing payments.
β’ Utilize Salesforce reports to manage the applicant pipeline and achieve sales objectives.
β’ Maintain precise communication records in Salesforce.
β’ Provide ongoing support to participants throughout their program year.
β’ Engage in sales training to enhance sales skills.
β’ Offer emergency assistance during 1β2 travel weekends each year.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent international qualification.
β’ At least two years of experience in customer service or sales.
β’ Capacity to navigate difficult conversations effectively.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to comprehend and adapt communication for various audiences.
β’ Strong organizational capabilities and a keen attention to detail.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages beyond English is advantageous.
β’ Experience with international travel or studying abroad is beneficial.
β’ Familiarity with working alongside diverse high school students is a plus.
β’ Willingness to work some evenings.
β’ Capability to provide emergency support during 1β2 travel weekends each year.
β’ Background check, reference check, and verification of education and employment are prerequisites for employment.
β’ Candidates must reside in Massachusetts; preference will be given to those in the Boston Metro Area.
