Student Enrollment Coordinator, High School Study Abroad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Increase student enrollment in CIEE's high school and recent graduate study abroad programs.

• Manage the applicant journey from initial interest to confirmed participation.

• Communicate the benefits and outcomes of study abroad to U.S. high school students and their legal guardians.

• Actively engage leads and applicants through outreach via phone, text, and email.

• Manage a high volume of daily calls, ranging from 20 to 60 depending on the season.

• Inspire and guide participants and their families through scholarship and application procedures.

• Assist families in overcoming challenges related to high school study abroad.

• Deliver prompt customer service throughout the application, acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure processes.

• Conduct virtual webinars for students and parents, including some evening sessions.

• Present to students and parents at high schools and fairs within the territory, which may involve domestic travel.

• Review applications, accept candidates, and convert them into paid participants.

• Ensure that participant financial accounts are accurate and fully settled; follow up on any discrepancies and outstanding payments.

• Utilize Salesforce reports to manage the applicant pipeline and meet sales targets.

• Maintain precise customer communication records in Salesforce.

• Provide ongoing support to participants throughout the program year.

• Engage in sales training and enhance sales capabilities.

• Offer emergency support during 1–2 travel weekends each year.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an international equivalent.

• At least two years of experience in customer service or sales.

• Competence in handling challenging conversations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Willingness to work some evening hours.

• Capability to provide emergency support during 1–2 travel weekends annually.

• A background check, reference check, and verification of education and employment are required as conditions of employment.

• International travel or study abroad experience is advantageous.

• Experience working with a diverse group of high school students is beneficial.

• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English is a plus.
