Structures Team Member

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, fabricate, and integrate structural and mechanical systems for dependable, functional, competition-ready aircraft.

• Assist in the development of a reliable and manufacturable fixed-wing aircraft aimed at autonomous payload delivery and retrieval.

• Collaborate with teams specializing in Aerodynamics, Avionics, Software, and Testing & Propulsion.

• Contribute to the design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of structural and mechanical components.

• Engage in projects involving airframe structures, payload systems, landing gear, control surface mechanisms, fixtures, and various aircraft assemblies.

• Take part in design reviews and collaborative assembly design processes.

• Integrate systems from other sub-teams.

• Incorporate 3D-printed hardware and fastening techniques.

• Undergraduate student or student from any academic discipline.

• Enthusiastic individuals with an interest in advanced drone technology and student aerospace teams.

• Capability or willingness to contribute to the structural and mechanical systems for aircraft.

• In-person interviews will take place following the application deadline.

• The written application and interview will be given more weight than the resume.
