This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute technical tasks on designated structural engineering projects, encompassing technical studies, investigations, and design work.
• Design and produce drawings for structural systems, accounting for gravity and lateral loads, foundations, and framing layouts.
• Calculate the dimensions and positioning of structural members and components.
• Collaborate on designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, and other disciplines.
• Conduct quality control assessments of structural drawings.
• Draft and revise specifications for structural systems.
• Participate in meetings with owners, clients, and architects, and document meeting notes.
• Liaise with local authorities and municipalities to ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and client representatives to clarify project scope.
• Conduct engineering studies and design evaluations.
• Mentor and guide Structural Designers.
• Carry out site surveys to assess current facility conditions.
• Visit construction sites to oversee progress and ensure compliance with designs, expectations, and building codes.
• Compile punch lists and project observation reports.
• Prepare Proposal Requests and Supplemental Instructions, and respond to Requests for Information.
• Review project submissions and approve or reject them based on drawings and specifications.
• Assist the project manager with budgeting, cost estimations, scheduling, contracts, and billing processes.
• Contribute to quality assurance reviews across all disciplines.
• Address complex issues with minimal supervision.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural Emphasis.
• Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 4–6 years of experience in Structural Engineering as a Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Over 3 years of experience utilizing Autodesk Revit BIM Software.
• Capability to design multi-story buildings.
• Proficiency in designing steel, wood, and concrete framing systems; masonry load-bearing walls; complex foundation systems; special moment frames; seismic wind load systems; and masonry and concrete shear walls.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% of the time.
• Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods.
• Capability to climb stairs.
• Ability to kneel, stand, or sit for extended durations.
• Capacity to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
• Ability to adjust or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
