📋 Description

• Collaborate with Infrastructure leadership to establish a long-term strategic vision and develop annual operating plans that align with Stripe's overall company strategy.

• Assess the financial health and costs associated with Infrastructure, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and manage analytical models while benchmarking key metrics to guide Infrastructure strategy and growth decisions.

• Monitor and promote initiatives that enhance infrastructure efficiency metrics.

• Facilitate cross-functional execution on priority projects, ensuring alignment among product, engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams.

• Design and implement operational systems and processes, including reporting dashboards, planning forums, and decision-making workflows.

• Lead strategic initiatives focused on system scalability, platform reliability, and efficiency improvements.

• Convert system performance and capacity trends into actionable infrastructure requirements.

• Drive architectural and resource decisions to support Stripe's sustained growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in strategy & operations, data science, finance, product management, or comparable roles within technology companies.

• Proven experience in highly cross-functional environments, encompassing strategy, analysis, and operations in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong critical thinking and first principles analysis skills.

• Ability to prioritize and focus on the most significant questions.

• A keen interest in delving into data and solving complex problems.

• Proficiency in data analytics, with a demonstrated capability to navigate extensive data sets and/or SQL.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with leaders across various teams.

• Proven ability to succeed in environments where influence is required without direct authority.

• A balanced understanding of both business and technical aspects.

• Capacity to execute with minimal supervision in situations characterized by a high degree of ambiguity.

• Preferred: prior experience in Infrastructure strategy, the Payments ecosystem, or large-scale Fintech.

• Preferred: capability to lead large-scale technical forums and planning sessions, focusing on measurable objectives, infrastructure SLAs, and ROI-driven results.

• Preferred: experience in addressing capacity and efficiency challenges and influencing engineering and product roadmaps.
