This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership and enhance key business workflows related to customer onboarding, transaction processing, account management, partner relations, reporting, and other essential operations.
• Detect operational inefficiencies and develop scalable processes, controls, and documentation.
• Convert business needs into requirements for internal tools, customer-facing applications, and automation solutions.
• Create reports focused on growth, conversion rates, turnaround times, service levels, unit economics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Evaluate business performance and suggest adjustments to foster growth, efficiency, economics, and improved customer experience.
• Collaborate with product, technology, sales, finance, operations, and external partners.
• Assist in the development and launch of new products, partnerships, and distribution channels.
• Perform market, competitor, and strategic analysis.
• Oversee high-priority projects from the problem definition phase through implementation and performance assessment.
• Aid in establishing the operational rhythm, processes, and infrastructure necessary for business scaling.
• Address emerging issues beyond current functions.
• Work closely with senior leadership across product, technology, sales, finance, and operations.
• Identify business challenges, create practical solutions, and remain engaged throughout the implementation process.
• One to two years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, startup operations, fintech, or another analytically rigorous field.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort with financial and operational data.
• Capability to comprehend complex systems, pinpoint critical factors, and convert analysis into actionable plans.
• Robust project management skills.
• Aptitude for coordinating multiple stakeholders and advancing projects without constant oversight.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities.
• Low-ego, high-ownership mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Capability to sit for extended durations while working on a computer.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
• Capacity to view a computer screen for prolonged periods.
• Proficient in effective communication in person, via phone, and through email.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and reach within an office setting.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing or data entry.
• Capability to maintain focus and attention while executing detailed tasks.
• Direct experience in fintech or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, workflow automation, or AI-enabled tools is beneficial but not required.
