This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute research on customers, markets, and competitors through surveys, interviews, business data, and external resources.
• Examine both quantitative and qualitative data to uncover customer needs, purchasing criteria, market trends, and opportunities for enhancement or growth.
• Assist in the formulation of go-to-market strategies for new products, propositions, and initiatives, encompassing target audiences, value propositions, positioning, launch plans, and success metrics.
• Generate competitive analyses on product positioning, customer alternatives, and potential proposition enhancements.
• Contribute to business cases, investment and M&A proposals, and annual planning by evaluating customer demand, commercial opportunities, strategic alignment, costs, risks, and dependencies.
• Convert research findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develop presentations, reports, and briefing documents for senior executives and broader stakeholder groups.
• Track the implementation and outcomes of agreed initiatives, identifying insights and suggesting modifications.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Editorial, Marketing, and Sales teams on specified strategic projects and overarching senior leadership priorities.
• Relevant experience in strategy, go-to-market planning, market research, product marketing, commercial analysis, consulting, or a related discipline.
• Proficient quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Experience in interpreting customer, market, or competitor research and converting findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong project management abilities and capacity to coordinate work across diverse teams.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in creating clear, senior-level presentations and reports.
• Capability to work independently on defined projects, manage competing priorities, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
• Commercial curiosity and skill in structuring complex or ambiguous questions.
• Preferred: Experience in legal information, B2B media, publishing, professional services, or subscription-based information products.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting product launches, go-to-market initiatives, or business cases.
• Preferred: Familiarity with survey design, customer segmentation, and qualitative research methods.
