Strategy Business Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist in the annual strategic planning and long-term business planning processes.

• Perform market research, gather competitive intelligence, analyze customers, and conduct industry assessments.

• Spot business opportunities and potential risks.

• Create business cases, financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario models.

• Aid in acquisition, partnership, investment, and corporate development initiatives.

• Carry out research, develop company profiles, and provide cross-functional diligence support.

• Lead project workstreams and coordinate activities among Finance, Commercial, Operations, Product Management, Information Technology, and other departments.

• Design and sustain business intelligence tools, dashboards, market databases, and reporting capabilities.

• Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for management to facilitate decision-making.

• Utilize AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to enhance research, analysis, reporting, and knowledge management.

• Develop and oversee automated workflows for collecting market intelligence, monitoring competitors, improving reporting efficiency, and managing information.

• Stay informed about market, competitive, technological, and regulatory changes.

• Provide support for strategic projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• MBA or an equivalent graduate degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Business Intelligence, Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical field.

• Proven experience in independently managing complex analytical workstreams and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, research, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other related analytical tools.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of workflow automation and reporting tools.

• Understanding of strategic planning, business intelligence, commercial operations, corporate finance, and market analysis.

• Working knowledge of Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product Management, and Information Technology.

• Capability to work independently and apply relevant theories, principles, practices, and concepts.

• Solid grasp of corporate policies, procedures, and precedents.

• Experience in a global or matrixed organization is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

• Primarily office-based or remote work using computer-based systems for extended periods.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.
