Business Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist in the annual strategic planning process and long-term business planning initiatives.

• Perform market research, competitive intelligence, customer analysis, and industry evaluations to uncover opportunities and threats.

• Create business cases, financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario models to aid business decision-making.

• Facilitate acquisition, partnership, investment, and corporate development efforts through research, analysis, company profiling, and cross-functional due diligence support.

• Lead specific project workstreams and coordinate activities across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Product Management, Information Technology, and other functional teams.

• Design and sustain business intelligence tools, dashboards, market databases, and reporting capabilities.

• Generate presentations, reports, and recommendations that convey insights and bolster management decision-making.

• Leverage artificial intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms, to enhance research, analysis, reporting, and knowledge-management processes.

• Develop and oversee automated workflows that enhance market intelligence gathering, competitive monitoring, reporting efficiency, and information management.

• Keep track of market, competitive, technological, and regulatory changes that may impact business performance.

• Assist with strategic projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• An MBA or equivalent graduate degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Business Intelligence, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical field.

• Proven experience independently managing intricate analytical workstreams and cross-functional strategic projects.

• Strong skills in analysis, financial modeling, research, problem-solving, presentations, and stakeholder management.

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and related analytical tools.

• Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies.

• Understanding of workflow automation and reporting tools.

• Capability to work independently with a comprehensive grasp of theories, principles, practices, and concepts in the field of specialization.

• Solid knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and precedents.

• Demonstrated comprehension of strategic planning, business intelligence, commercial operations, corporate finance, and market analysis.

• Basic understanding of Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product Management, and Information Technology.

• Experience in a global or matrixed organization is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

• Successful completion of pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screening.
