Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Create intricate DAX calculations and develop efficient data models.

• Enhance dashboard performance while managing extensive, high-frequency datasets.

• Develop reporting solutions that address production volumes, well performance, downtime, and operational KPIs.

• Extract, transform, and integrate data from various sources using SQL and ETL methodologies.

• Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure the accuracy of reports.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, accounting, and business teams to ascertain reporting requirements.

• Convert complex data into clear and actionable business insights.

• Continuously enhance reporting solutions for improved performance, scalability, and user-friendliness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data visualization.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Proficient knowledge of DAX, including complex measures and calculations.

• Strong SQL skills and expertise in relational databases.

• Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

• Experience working with large or high-frequency datasets, particularly time-series data.

• Capability to optimize dashboard performance and resolve reporting issues.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in upstream oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, or industrial operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with AVEVA PI System, PI AF, or PI Integrator is preferred.

• Experience with SCADA systems or production accounting data is preferred.

• Knowledge of operational KPIs such as production volumes, BOE, downtime, asset uptime, and lease operating expenses is preferred.

• Experience in analyzing industrial or operational time-series data is preferred.
