Manager – HEDIS Informatics and Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate departmental needs and pinpoint integration opportunities for new technologies and system processes.

• Support the team in managing data, reporting, and analytics functions to assist internal teams in drawing meaningful conclusions.

• Mentor the team on employing statistical and computational methods to analyze research data.

• Perform literature reviews on data management, information systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

• Collaborate with industry partners to apply research findings in practical settings.

• Create documentation systems that detail system specifications, architectural diagrams, and user manuals.

• Establish data models, data integration processes, and data governance policies.

• Design sophisticated data migration systems and work with data management teams to ensure precise information transfer.

• Implement testing systems to guarantee that departmental requirements and functions are fulfilled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent qualifications.

• Proficient in SQL and/or Python.

• Skilled in Business Intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Growth mindset with a focus on agility and personal and professional development.

• Capable of executing and delivering plans, including planning, executing, and supporting tasks.

• Ability to convert non-analytical customer needs into analysis and reporting, alongside communicating data insights.

• Experience within Healthcare Quality Management.

• Familiarity with NCQA HEDIS and other quality metrics.

• Background in outcomes research.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related STEM field.
