This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with clients in the Large/Mega/Not-For-Profit sector.
• Create, execute, and assess communication strategies for participants tailored to strategic clients.
• Leverage expertise in financial services, strategic communications, product insight, and client management to enhance retirement preparedness.
• Ensure client satisfaction while overseeing profitability in collaboration with the service team.
• Provide precise and timely communications regarding plan activities and strategic, action-oriented campaigns.
• Assist clients in advancing financial literacy and participant wellness using existing resources.
• Evaluate and suggest strategies for communication design and delivery while managing a portfolio of clients.
• Supervise budgets for participant communications, deliverables, quality assurance, timelines, metrics, and planning.
• Present innovative ideas and updates on campaigns during client meetings, webcasts, and phone discussions.
• Clarify complex concepts and foster consensus among client contacts.
• Collaborate with the Retirement Education Team for employee meetings and presentations/webcasts.
• Develop creative briefs for intricate initiatives and tactics.
• Implement client initiatives within specified budgets.
• Manage workflows through the completion of deliverables.
• Oversee a client portfolio and travel up to 20% of the time.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Maintain client relationships to remain within annual budgets and address costs that exceed scope.
• Work in partnership with service, communications/education, product, operations, and marketing teams.
• Collaborate with clients and advisors/consultants.
• Make decisions to guarantee client satisfaction and escalate only the most challenging issues.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, finance, or a related field.
• FINRA fingerprinting is required.
• Typically, at least five years of experience in the retirement industry.
• Knowledge of defined contribution, defined benefit, non-qualified plans, and pertinent regulatory compliance.
• Typically, a minimum of five years of experience in retirement communications.
• Experience with both mandatory and discretionary communication deliverables.
• Familiarity with variable data, personalization, and multi-channel delivery methods.
• Typically, a minimum of five years of client management experience within corporate benefits, communications, or marketing.
• Outstanding project management capabilities.
• Experience with advisor/intermediary relationships and an understanding of their roles.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a quick aptitude for learning new systems/software.
• Familiarity with style guides.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to foresee and address potential objections.
• Capacity to adapt to a dynamic work environment and seasonal workload fluctuations.
• Understanding of communication budgets and client-related expense variables.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
• Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable home office setup for remote work.
