This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Oversee the Sourcing and Procurement team for a national portfolio within the healthcare sector.
• Engage in the account leadership team and implement strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and handle sourcing-related administrative and operational tasks.
• Uphold contracting and procurement standards across the entire portfolio.
• Collaborate with key client stakeholders and account leadership to foster trusted relationships, provide support, and offer reporting and data for strategic planning.
• Create and enhance strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management programs.
• Supervise client and account risks, controllable spending, product/service standardization, and supplier rationalization.
• Recruit, develop, and lead staff to accomplish account objectives.
• Formulate sourcing strategies and manage analytics for effective planning and sourcing.
• Standardize supplier agreements and ensure adherence to client flow-downs and JLL templates.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client procurement team.
• Integrate systems and documentation across service lines using a unified methodology and repository.
• Promote diversity and sustainable sourcing initiatives.
• Design and evaluate sourcing and bidding processes, reporting findings accordingly.
• Define and implement a sourcing platform vision in collaboration with service line leadership.
• Maintain supplier relationships and conduct reviews of supplier performance.
• Document varied processes and propose consistency and risk-mitigation solutions.
• Evaluate sourcing objectives, category spending, and milestone timelines.
• Implement sourcing plans and manage both national and regional initiatives.
• Organize and conduct supply-chain content training seminars biannually.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing and contracting policies while leading resolutions with internal audit teams.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Legal, Risk Management, Property, and Project Management divisions.
• Oversee supplier scorecards, contract compliance, and service obligations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management and/or a minimum of 3 years of strategic sourcing experience.
• MBA is preferred.
• Professional certification is a plus (e.g., ISM, LEED).
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a decentralized setting.
• Experience in IFM/Facilities sourcing, preferably in healthcare.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness and capability to function as both a strategist and tactician.
• Expertise in sourcing with a proven track record of managing change.
• Successful implementation of multiple procurement strategies.
• Proven ability to achieve results in challenging settings.
• Proficient PC skills, with advanced knowledge of MS applications.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
