Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Capital

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Capture, analyze, and report data to assist Trinity Health leadership in achieving operational efficiency.

• Audit departmental information, generate reports, and recommend process enhancements.

• Research, gather, compile, synthesize, and analyze operational data.

• Identify opportunities, devise solutions, and guide issues to resolution.

• Collaborate on performance improvement initiatives focused on program efficiency and patient experience outcomes.

• Distribute analytical reports.

• Utilize various system applications to conduct analysis, create reports, and develop educational resources.

• Research and assemble information for ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives.

• Create comprehensive summaries and graphical data presentations that illustrate trends and propose practical solutions.

• Leverage program and operational data to define and illustrate progress, ROI, and impacts.

• Support sourcing and procurement operations by acquiring and managing vendor quotes and maintaining vendor records in PeopleSoft.

• Verify pricing accuracy and validate on-contract versus off-contract purchases.

• Review and approve Capital Expenditure Requests using Microsoft Teams or another designated method.

• Develop and maintain performance reporting dashboards utilizing Tableau or similar software.

• Manage HPG contracts in Icertis, including contract lifecycle activities and coordination of contract build sheets.

• Oversee CRT form reviews and submit Capital CRTs to Finance.

• Assist with Capital sourcing events and manage the complete contract signature process.

• Lead selected contract and S2 extensions and coordinate Technology and Security Assessment submissions.

• Calculate and document savings across various Capital categories.

• Serve as a point of contact for RHM management-team members regarding Capital purchasing and sourcing matters.

• Investigate ministry-related issues pertaining to Capital contracts.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain verticals to enhance Trinity Health-supplier relationships.

• Provide cross-functional support for sourcing specialists in purchase order processing.

• Manage and implement small-scale projects, programs, initiatives, workflows, and service delivery plans.

• Perform other assigned duties to fulfill organizational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business or supply chain management; or a comparable combination of education and work experience.

• 3+ years of sourcing experience, which may encompass data analytics, procurement practices, and/or vendor relationships within a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.

• Comprehensive knowledge and skills in advanced data analytics and procurement practices.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.

• Understanding of information access and use, preparation of specifications, and analysis of bids and contracts.

• Ability to create and maintain precise records and reports.

• Capability to identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.

• Capacity to establish productive relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Commitment to maintaining honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

• Healthcare experience in clinical areas and/or supply chain is a plus.

• Proficiency in using a computer and other technology.

• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and utilize available PPE.
