This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the enterprise strategy for contingent workforce management, outsourcing, offshoring, consulting, and clinical services.
• Act as a senior Procurement partner and a trusted commercial advisor to the leadership of the Insurance segment and Corporate Services.
• Transform business strategy, operational plans, transformation roadmaps, workforce requirements, and financial obligations into cohesive services, workforce, and supplier strategies.
• Assess alternatives regarding make, buy, build, automate, offshore, outsource, and partner before selecting suppliers.
• Foster alignment across various functions including business, Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Procurement.
• Own and manage enterprise category strategies while developing integrated external workforce strategies.
• Design strategies for location and delivery models, and enhance global business services models.
• Establish multi-year category strategies and maintain a pipeline for transformation, sourcing, demand management, insourcing/outsourcing, supplier optimization, and commercial model opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive business cases for outsourcing, offshoring, consulting, and workforce transformation initiatives.
• Verify assumptions and monitor in-year, run-rate, and realized value in collaboration with Finance.
• Define decision gates and executive responsibilities throughout the sourcing, transition, stabilization, and benefit realization processes.
• Lead or sponsor complex, high-value, and high-risk negotiations for services.
• Create various commercial models including rate cards, milestones, transactions, consumption, capacity, managed services, outcome-based, gainshare, and hybrid models.
• Enhance contractual safeguards for pricing, productivity, benchmarking, service levels, innovation, change control, auditing, transition, termination, and exit assistance.
• Outline the contingent workforce strategy, governance, and supplier framework.
• Optimize demand planning, talent-channel selection, rate and markup governance, supplier performance, tenure management, worker quality, and time to productivity.
• Develop consulting strategies, preferred partner models, and governance frameworks.
• Formulate category and supplier strategies for clinical services, balancing quality, access, outcomes, cost, compliance, delegation, and continuity.
• Mentor and develop Category Managers, Supplier Managers, and procurement professionals.
• Enhance capabilities in global business services, outsourcing, workforce economics, consulting, clinical services, business case development, transition management, negotiation, and executive influence.
• Integrate analytics, automation, and AI into market intelligence, business cases, negotiations, contracts, and supplier oversight.
• Set performance standards, succession plans, and growth opportunities.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Global Business Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Workforce Solutions, Consulting, Supplier Management, or similar commercial leadership roles.
• More than 10 years of people leadership experience, including the ability to build, transform, and retain high-performing teams.
• In-depth expertise in contingent workforce management, outsourcing, offshoring, consulting, managed services, business process services, or clinical services.
• Experience in designing or sourcing global business services models, encompassing retained organization design, service placement, transition, and provider governance.
• Exceptional skills in business case development, including baseline validation, comprehensive cost analysis, productivity, implementation, transition, stranded costs, retained costs, risk, and benefit realization.
• Proven success in leading complex service portfolios, executive-level transformations, and high-value strategic negotiations.
• Proficient in services commercial models, supplier economics, labor markets, rate structures, service levels, benchmarking, productivity, and outcome-based constructs.
• Ability to advise segment presidents, functional executives, and senior leaders, influencing decisions without requiring positional authority.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise value while maintaining service quality, workforce experience, customer or member outcomes, compliance, resilience, and risk management.
• Experienced in navigating complex transitions, change management, supplier remediation, and exit strategies.
• Familiarity with operating across matrixed environments involving business, Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Procurement organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
