Senior Manager, Global Procurement – Hard Home

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of cost structures and savings initiatives for global procurement in Hard Home.

• Develop and implement commercial roadmaps and vendor distribution strategies for specific categories.

• Set both short-term and long-term procurement objectives that align with business expansion goals.

• Achieve outstanding product cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and ESG considerations.

• Collaborate with technology teams to integrate procurement capabilities and playbooks into Vendor Portal and Product Catalog tools.

• Aim for a target of 700 basis points reduction in product costs within the next year.

• Organize and manage comprehensive, competitive RFP processes from vendor identification to award.

• Negotiate product pricing and commercial agreements with manufacturing partners.

• Create standardized negotiation frameworks and develop an AI agent for systematic RFP scenario analysis.

• Develop and utilize component-level clean sheets to enhance pricing transparency.

• Review and authorize buy events, and lead margin reviews for the Buy Plan.

• Negotiate pricing and availability of upstream inputs with material suppliers.

• Establish cost structures and timelines for renegotiating scale pricing.

• Provide merchandising teams with targets for scale costing.

• Collaborate with Material Managers, Sourcing Teams, and both Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors.

• Incorporate upstream material availability into product design and development processes.

• Identify opportunities for supply-chain value creation, including verticalization and volume consolidation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within a consumer goods or retail context.

• Demonstrated success in managing competitive RFP processes with international manufacturing partners.

• Practical experience in creating and utilizing clean sheets for cost negotiations.

• Strong analytical abilities and a comfort level with data-driven decision-making.

• Experience collaborating across functions with merchandising, materials, and production teams.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.
