Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Capital

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, gather, analyze, and report data to enhance operational efficiency.

• Review departmental information and recommend process enhancements.

• Collaborate on initiatives aimed at improving program efficiency and patient experience.

• Distribute analytical reports to relevant stakeholders.

• Utilize various system applications for analysis, report creation, and educational material development.

• Research and compile data for ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives.

• Synthesize and analyze data, create graphical presentations, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.

• Use operational data and metrics to define and showcase progress, ROI, and impacts.

• Assist Sourcing Managers in achieving the division’s annual financial objectives.

• Obtain and manage vendor quotes, refresh expired quotes, and maintain vendor records within PeopleSoft.

• Ensure pricing accuracy and validate on-contract versus off-contract purchases.

• Review and authorize Capital Expenditure Requests via Microsoft Teams or another designated platform.

• Create and sustain team performance reporting dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.

• Oversee HPG contracts in Icertis and coordinate contract build sheets with the Content group.

• Lead reviews of CRT forms and submit Capital CRTs to Finance.

• Support Capital sourcing events and manage the complete contract signature processes.

• Lead specific contract and S2 extensions, coordinating Technology and Security Assessment submissions.

• Calculate and document savings across various Capital categories.

• Act as a point of contact for RHM management team members regarding Capital purchasing and sourcing concerns.

• Investigate ministry-related issues concerning Capital contracts.

• Support Supply Chain verticals and enhance Trinity Health-supplier relationships.

• Provide coverage for sourcing specialists in purchase order processing as required.

• Manage and execute small-scale projects, programs, initiatives, production plans, communications, workflows, and service delivery plans.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business or supply chain management; or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.

• Over 3 years of sourcing experience, which may encompass data analytics, procurement practices, and/or vendor relationships in a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in advanced data analytics and procurement practices.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.

• Understanding of methods for accessing and utilizing information, preparing specifications, and analyzing bids and contracts.

• Capability to create and maintain precise records and reports.

• Ability to identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and coordination skills.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.

• Ability to establish and nurture productive relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Additional qualification: experience in healthcare sectors, particularly in clinical areas and/or supply chain, is preferred.
