This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop extensive, cross-platform knowledge of Alkami's demo tools across all product lines, including both front-end and back-end.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and sales leadership to pinpoint pain points, identify gaps, and establish objectives for demo tools.
• Create, develop, and sustain the next generation of demo tools utilizing AI-assisted development techniques.
• Provide technical expertise for active deals involving MANTL's API, Alkami's SDK, or intricate integrations.
• Act as the primary technical resource for the SE organization regarding demo tool inquiries and complex configuration or capability challenges.
• Recognize product limitations, devise practical workarounds, and relay field insights to inform long-term platform strategies.
• Mentor and enhance the skills of Sales Engineers in technical positioning and handling objections.
• Monitor outcomes and report recurring technical deficiencies that necessitate sustained product investments.
• Promote AI-assisted development workflows within the SE organization.
• 6–10 years of experience in solutions engineering or software development roles.
• Proven hands-on experience in developing tools, prototypes, or internal platforms utilizing APIs, SDKs, or extensibility frameworks.
• Comfort in customer-facing or pre-sales environments when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages, such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of API and SDK design, authentication processes, and extensibility frameworks.
• Genuine, hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to consolidate input from various stakeholders into a cohesive technical roadmap.
• Strong presentation and consultative skills when engaging with senior technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to assess technical stacks or toolsets and make recommendations regarding building, buying, or improving options.
• Comfort in addressing complex technical inquiries regarding APIs, SDKs, or integrations on short notice.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize technical gaps.
• Skill in translating intricate technical ideas into clear business value narratives.
• Candidates must be eligible for full-time employment in the US.
• Preferred: experience in digital banking or financial services platforms.
• Preferred: direct experience in developing on an SDK or extensibility framework.
• Preferred: experience in creating internal tools or platforms.
• Preferred: a history of establishing new tools or infrastructure from the ground up.
• Preferred: familiarity with competitive analysis and solution positioning strategies.
