Strategic Projects Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of projects from start to finish: define scope, create plans, execute tasks, refine processes, and deliver datasets for top AI laboratories and enterprise clients.

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients: conduct regular check-ins, communicate progress, manage expectations, and identify risks proactively.

• Convert research requirements into specifications: develop clear guidelines, rubrics, and task structures that influence how models are trained and assessed.

• Lead specialized teams: recruit, onboard, and oversee domain experts (PhDs, engineers, clinicians, lawyers, analysts) to ensure scalable production.

• Ensure quality: design quality assurance workflows, review samples, monitor metrics, and continually elevate data integrity standards.

• Enhance operational efficiency: create playbooks, submit tooling requests, and establish processes that streamline future projects for improved speed and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in project or program management, consulting, operations, or a comparable high-responsibility role.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; adept at working directly with technical clients.

• Demonstrated capability to transform vague problems into structured, actionable plans.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

• Ability to thrive in dynamic, startup environments with changing priorities.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Experience in an AI/ML organization or involvement with data annotation, RLHF, or model evaluation initiatives.

• Experience managing distributed or freelance teams.

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and a genuine interest in their training and evaluation processes.
