Enterprise Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Assist in the continuous development and assessment of H&R Block's corporate strategy.

• Perform market, customer, competitive, and financial analyses to uncover opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.

• Develop and validate hypotheses concerning growth strategies, market expansion, customer requirements, new business models, and transformation initiatives.

• Generate data-driven recommendations, executive presentations, and strategic insights for senior leadership, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board of Directors.

• Lead and participate in critical strategy projects alongside cross-functional teams.

• Aid in the enterprise strategic planning process, ensuring alignment of priorities, investments, initiatives, and success metrics.

• Facilitate workshops for executives and discussions with stakeholders.

• Evaluate competitive landscapes, emerging technologies, and disruptive trends within the tax, financial services, and small business sectors.

• Assist in the assessment of strategic partnerships, new business ventures, and growth possibilities.

• Cultivate trusted relationships and influence leaders across various functions to promote strategic priorities and informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 4–6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent in strategy-focused management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, growth strategy, investment banking, private equity, or a related domain.

• Proficiency in structuring and resolving complex, ambiguous business challenges to achieve measurable business outcomes.

• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial modeling abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to distill complex information into clear and persuasive recommendations.

• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and exerting influence without direct authority.

• Background in engaging with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, strong collaboration abilities, a proactive approach, and a proven track record of generating value and delivering measurable business results.
