Strategic Project Manager – M&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluating, screening, and prioritizing M&A and partnership opportunities, which includes performing market and target analyses.

• Developing business cases, company valuations, and financial models to aid in strategic decision-making.

• Crafting materials for management and the board, along with producing clear and impactful presentations.

• Assisting in and managing M&A processes, which encompasses due diligence, advisor coordination, as well as integration and divestiture projects.

• Conducting independent analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and company developments.

• Contributing to strategic initiatives and projects within the Corporate Development team.

• Managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Providing support to the Director of Corporate Development, the executive board, and management on strategic challenges and business development efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• Several years of relevant professional experience (3–6 years) in Corporate Development, M&A, Transaction Services, or strategy consulting.

• Strong understanding of company valuation, financial modeling, and business case development.

• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, along with a solid grasp of strategic and financial contexts.

• Experience in managing complex projects and working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• High level of initiative, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a structured, results-driven approach to work.

• Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A communicative personality with a confident demeanor when engaging with management and internal stakeholders.
